Join us at the European Coatings Show

There’s a lot to discuss on Baker Perkins’ stand (418 in Hall 6) at the European Coatings Show in Nuremberg from April 4th to 6th.

The upgraded MPX24 Integra pilot scale machine will be on show for the first time; also highlighted are the new MPX19 laboratory scale extruder; and the enhanced range of MP production machines.

We will introduce the benefits of the latest control systems developed for all Baker Perkins twin-screw powder coating extruders. These now include remote management capability, enabling us to log in on-line to analyse machine process and performance anywhere in the world. It allows immediate evaluation and advice to maximise results and solve problems.

The MPX24 is used for small batches, colour matching and laboratory work: feeding, extruding, cooling and flaking are integrated in one machine. New features make changeover between runs even quicker; we have also made improvements to boost versatility.

The new benchtop MPX19 brings significant improvement in the extent and accuracy of information achieved in laboratory and development work. It incorporates features that ensure full, reliable scale-up from batch to continuous output on Baker Perkins’ production extruders.

On the range of MP production machines, a new optional high-intake feed port, and modified screw profiles, contribute to greater throughput; a gearbox monitoring system cuts unexpected downtime; and an optional water cooled motor is quieter and cleaner.
